We are riding the course of the this nasty virus, and both kids of course have been affected by it. Kylin had a rough weekend, and on Monday I took her in to the walk-in again because her cough was so strong that she couldn't keep food down. They did a chest x-ray and ruled out pneumonia. She also received a neb treatment in the clinic which seemed to clear her crackles in her lungs, so we were sent home with a 5 day course of an oral steroid. She is doing better, but still seems to have some nasty coughing fits. Preston had just the horribly runny nose and then began with a cough later in the weekend and by Tuesday he had the cough and was running temps. We had a visit with our new pediatrician yesterday and he checked them over and re-assured us that by day 4 or 5 it's usually at it's worst. We are on day 6 at this point!
